Frequently Asked Questions

What crops are available U-Pick this season?

We offer a variety of seasonal U-Pick experiences including: strawberries, blueberries, sunflowers, and CUPS-protected citrus. Crops change throughout the year—check our Seasonal Calendar for current availability.

How much fruit can I pick?

Fruit is priced based on the crop and the season.

  • Some items (like citrus and blueberries) are charged by weight

  • Others (like sunflowers or strawberries) may be priced per bag, with multiple bag sizes available

We’ll provide everything you need for picking—including bags and supplies. For safety and consistency, personal wagons or containers are not permitted. Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered!

When can I visit the grove?

U-Pick is open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays during each crop’s harvest window: typically late November through April for citrus, with other crops varying by season. We operate rain or shine, unless there’s lightning or severe weather. We highly recommend you wear long pants and closed-toe shoes for safety.

We accept cash, debit cards, and all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover). Whether you're shopping in the market, picking fruit, or grabbing a treat—we’ve got you covered at checkout!

How do you protect your produce?

Our citrus is grown under CUPS (Citrus Under Protective Screen)—a cutting-edge method that shields fruit from pests and disease, while offering a clean environment for U-Pick and commercial production.

What happens if it rains?

We remain open in light rain and provide umbrellas or rain ponchos. If lightning or hazardous weather arises, U-Pick will temporarily close until it’s safe. Ice cream and market will stay open.
